Our Care Team
Clinical Director and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Brandi McNew, MA, LMFT
Thank you for taking time to learn more about Turnabout Counseling Center and our desire to provide compassionate care to individuals in our community. I feel strongly that we are not defined by our struggles. Life is hard and sometimes we need additional support. Counseling can be a valuable resource for many different situations and is available to anyone. The misconception that counseling is only for “certain people” is harmful to individuals, families, and communities. My goal is to make the counseling experience approachable, comfortable, and useful. I hope that our work together will be helpful in providing you with a sense of peace, freedom, and strength to move forward in life. This work can be challenging but I am committed to walking with you through this process. I also feel passionate about helping people have healthy relationships - in their families, their faith communities, their workplace, and beyond. We were not meant to live in solitude and strong loving relationships are essential to one’s overall health. It is my goal to help people understand relationship dynamics and assist them in shaping healthy relationships.
I have been a life-long member of Frazer Church and have volunteered in a number of ministry areas over the years. My husband and I have been married for 24 years and have two children (a 21 year old son and 19 year old daughter). We also have 4 fur-family members: Sugar, Jemma, Birdie, and Cassie (who is our on-site therapy dog). I enjoy hiking, visiting waterfalls, digging in the dirt (ie gardening), and ziplining when I get the chance.

“Brandi McNew has been very instrumental in giving words of wisdom and discernment as she has partnered with many ministries over the years. Her depth of knowledge and keen sense to point people to The Word is a reflection of her own personal walk with the “Wonderful Counselor”. Her many years of experience offers a deep trust in knowing that her counseling is solid, sound and rooted in Jesus Christ.”
